Our thoughts and condolences are with her majesty’s Queen Elizabeth II family at this sad time.

For many, the Queen has been a reassuring symbol of certainty and continuity throughout their lifetime. She is also arguably the most significant female global figure of many generations within the Commonwealth and worldwide

The news of her death will impact everyone differently and, while some may wish to watch the funeral in the privacy of their own home or elsewhere, SECra and the Sunray Club will be opening the Sunray Community Centre (next to Knollmead Primary School) for everyone in the community to come together to watch the funeral on a large projector screen and, afterwards, stay for tea/coffee and chat with other members of the community.

The Funeral procession will start at 10:40am on Monday 19th September and the Community Centre will be open from 10am. Please arrive before 10:30am to avoid disturbing those that may already be watching the coverage.

To help us manage the number at the center, please complete the form below if you would like to attend. Thank you.

We only need this in order to contact you if any changes to the schedule occur. We will not sell or otherwise mis-use your details.
Children are welcome, but please remember the event is likely to take at least a couple of hours.
Tea and coffee making facilities will be provided, but if you are able to bring along something to share with the community it would be greatly appreciated.
The Sunray Community Center is wheelchair accessible.
